Trader Joe’s just announced a recall on approximately 61,500 bottles of sparkling water. This is due to the bottles being potentially cracked or damaged, causing a laceration hazard.

The sparkling water product affected is the Gerolsteiner-branded Sparkling Natural Mineral Water. The recalled 750-milliliter bottles have printed lot codes “11/28/2024 L” or “11/27/2024 L” and best-by dates of December 18 or 19, 2027. 

The recalled water was sold from December 27, 2024, through January 28, 2025, at Trader Joe’s locations in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.

While there are no injuries connected to this recall, consumers are still urged to return the recalled sparkling water to their place of purchase for a refund. The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that “consumers will not be asked for proof of purchase, but will need to return the recalled bottle to receive a refund in the form of cash or credit.”
