A few years ago, I was chatting with my sister-in-law about our favorite travel gear while we waited to board a plane. I acquired the leggings the day they hit stores. Weeks later, I can confidently report that they hold up well to hours-long couch-lounging sessions, vigorous dog walks and, of course, cross-country plane trips. They’re also easy to clean in the washing machine, which I can personally attest to after my newborn niece spit-up all over them. And while I still prefer to run in the brand’s Fast and Free Tight because of the pockets, Lululemon’s Align No Line High-Rise Pant has quickly become a staple piece in my wardrobe.
Like the rest of the Align category, these leggings are ideal for casual activities and stretching-based exercises, like yoga or pilates. They have a flattering high-rise fit and a buttery-soft design that contains my curves without limiting my range of movement. And without the dreaded center seam, they never ride up or pinch where they shouldn’t. (Since I’m on the shorter side, I prefer the 25-inch length, but the brand also has a 28-inch pant for women with longer legs.)
After trying this new style, hundreds of shoppers agree that the upgrade is a “total game-changer.” While words like “genius” and “amazing” litter the comments section, one review popped out at me for its eloquent phrasing: The new version offers the “same classic fit and feel, minus the camel toe.” I couldn’t have said it better myself.
