In an interview with People, the actor shared what she eats in a day, and it was lovely to see how quick and nutritious each meal in her day typically was. Her favorite dinner has only three main ingredients, and it reminds us of the balanced plate of the Mediterranean diet as it spotlights protein, healthy fats and whole grains.
For her main protein, Roberts opts for wild-caught salmon, and salmon is a great source of many nutrients like brain-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, anti-inflammatory antioxidants like astaxanthin, immune-healthy vitamin D and more. While fresh salmon will taste delicious when modestly prepped with salt, pepper and oil, you can spruce it up with a zesty marinade for elevated flavor.
The Academy Award winner likes to pair her salmon with avocado and brown rice for a filling meal.
