Aldi just announced a recall on two popular holiday snacks sold in 26 states and regions, according to the company’s website. This is due to undeclared allergens.

The Silvestri Sweets Inc. products affected are 5-ounce bags of Choceur Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark and Choceur Cookie Butter Holiday Bark. These barks are being recalled for undeclared wheat and pecans, respectively.

Aldi locations in the following states and regions are impacted by this recall: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.

If you have one of the holiday barks on hand, the company is urging you to discard the product immediately or return it to your local Aldi for a full refund. Those with a wheat or pecan allergy could experience symptoms as severe as anaphylaxis after eating. Call 911 if you are showing signs of a severe allergic reaction.
